Golf Nets

4 Results

Golf nets from QUICKPLAY let you take a full swing at home without chasing balls down the garden. The range runs from a compact hitting net that packs into a bag up to pitch-scale ball stops that screen a whole practice area. Every frame uses a powder-coated steel base with fibreglass uprights, the poles come pre-attached with shock cord, and one golfer can have any of them standing in about two minutes.

The QUICK-HIT Golf Hitting Net 8x8' is the dedicated golf practice net. Its 5-ply netting takes the power out of the shot and channels the ball down into a collection area at your feet, so there is almost no bounce-back and nothing to go and fetch. It stands on grass, artificial turf and indoor floors, which makes it the one to pick for a garage, a sports hall or a range bay as well as the garden. The MEGA NET Golf Hitting Net 12x9' is the big one. At 12ft wide and 9ft tall, with a 20mm square woven net and a ball-return design that feeds shots back towards you, it gives you a wide margin for mis-hits with the driver and enough height for wedge work and chipping. Ground stakes are included for outdoor use. If you need to protect more than the hitting line, the MEGA NET Multi-Sport Ball-Stop nets go wider still, come with removable targets, and link side by side with Velcro connectors to make one continuous screen. They are part of the wider ball stop nets range.

QUICKPLAY has designed portable nets in-house since 2007. Spare nets and uprights are stocked across the range, so a net can be repaired rather than replaced, and each one comes with its own carry bag.

What size golf net do I need for the garden?

For most gardens the QUICK-HIT Golf Hitting Net 8x8' is enough for full swings. It gives you an 8ft square face and drops the ball at your feet. Step up to the MEGA NET Golf Hitting Net 12x9' if you want a wider margin for mis-hits, if more than one person is hitting, or if you want the ball returned to you between shots. Measure your width first and leave yourself room to swing behind the net.

Can I use a golf net indoors?

Yes. The QUICK-HIT Golf Hitting Net 8x8' stands on grass, artificial turf and indoor floors, so a garage, a sports hall or a range bay all work. You cannot peg it down indoors, so check the base sits flat and square before you hit, and make sure you have the height for a full backswing.

Is it safe to hit a driver into a practice net?

That is what these are built for. The QUICK-HIT uses 5-ply netting designed to absorb the pace and send the ball downwards rather than back at you. The MEGA NET Golf net uses a 20mm square woven net across a 12ft by 9ft face, so off-centre drives are still caught. Check the netting for wear before a session and keep anyone watching behind the hitting line.

Can I leave a golf net outside all year?

No. These are portable nets rather than permanent structures. Each one packs back into its carry bag in about the time it took to put up, and putting it away after a session is what keeps the netting and the frame in good order.
