Frequently Asked Questions About QUICKPLAY Products

FAQ

Below are some common product FAQs to help you get the most from your QUICKPLAY products. If you have any other queries or concerns or products issues that aren't answered below, please email our customer service team who are always on hand to help on: support@quickplaysport.com

Don't worry - this is completely normal and an important design feature on all our flexi-post goal & net base frames. You’ll notice that some of the base frame poles have a slight bend / or kink in the middle of the pole. When assembled these poles create the long back bar pole, which has a gentle upward curve and connects to the two side poles that sit flat on the ground.

This back bar is not meant to sit flat on the ground. As you attach the net - which applies tension to the flexi-post frame - the curved back bar will flex down towards the ground. This curve is designed to keep the side poles flat on the ground when in use and improves the tension in the net and the longevity of the product.

You can see this in practice in this video (from 0:15): https://youtu.be/g9lRGaTw83o?t=16

We hear this question a lot and it depends on the goal/net…

YES - Our Q-FOLD and Q-MATCH and PRO Rebounder ranges are made from all-weather materials and are suitable to be left assembled outdoors for long periods in various weather conditions. We should note however that you will increase the product’s useful lifespan by storing it in a shed / garage if you intend on not using it for a while (e.g. through the winter). All of these products are design to fold for storage so not to take up too much space.

NO - Our other goals and nets (including KICKSTER, SPOT, QUICK-HIT and MEGA NET etc.) are designed to be quickly assembled / disassembled in just a few minutes and should not be left set up for extended periods of time between training sessions. Leaving these products assembled outdoors for long period of time (days or weeks) will significantly shorten the lifespan of the products and (more importantly) will void your product warranty.

Plastic / poly-goals like our Q-FOLD and Q-FOLD Match are great for creating a lightweight solid goalmouth, but overtime, or during the hot summer you might find that the crossbar of your goal starts to sag / droop downward. It’s not a great look, but our team of designers figured out a simple solution, by simply rotating the crossbar when the goal is not in use. When stored like this, heat and gravity flex the tubes in the opposite direction, helping to remove the sag in the poles.

When you come to use the goal again, rotate the crossabar into the proper position and it should be straighter. We recommend you do this each time you use the goal (especially if you live in a hot climate), or if you intend to leave it assembled for extended periods of time.

It’s rare, but occasionally couriers are a little careless and a steel pole in your KICKSTER or SPOT base frame arrives with a slightly dented end. Before returning your goal / net to the store, try this quick and simple fix to remove the dent from the end of the tube. Don’t worry carrying out this fix won’t affect your warranty and our team is always here to help (email us) if it doesn’t work or goes wrong.

How to fix a dented tube / corner joint: https://youtu.be/wnwGlSq75Yw

We add black plastic caps to the open tube ends of our corner joints to help prevent damage during transit and sometimes these caps are a little tight / hard to remove. If you find it's not possible to prise the caps off with fingers, we advised you make a small cut in the top of the plastic and then use pliers to pull the cap off. It does not matter if the cap is damaged, as it is designed to be thrown away.

QUICKPLAY flexi-post goals and nets use spring wire connectors to pre-connect base frame poles, making assembly quicker and easier. On the rare occasion that one of these wire connectors comes loose / disconnected, here’s a short instructional video showing how to replace / reinsert it. It's easy and takes just a few minutes: https://youtu.be/Eim9YcXhx8w

Sometimes the small buttons used in the ends of the steel tubes on our flexi-post goals and nets get lost. Not to worry, we include a spare spring button in the box of all our flexi-post goals and nets (normally it’s in a plastic bag stapled to the instructions). Here’s a short instructional video on how to replace a missing spring clip: https://youtu.be/vjT9_IwObeg
